Friends of the Choir

As a choir we would love to be able to put on more of the larger scale concerts with orchestra and professional soloists that we know are most attractive to our audiences. However, these cost considerably more than those involving smaller scale resources such as organ accompaniment. Although we aim to cover most of our costs through ticket sales and members’ subscriptions, in order for us to keep our ticket prices affordable we need additional sources of income. One way of raising funds which we are especially keen to promote is the Friends of Southport Bach Choir scheme

For £50 a year you can become a Friend of the Choir. For this you will:

• Receive one ticket to each of our three main concerts of the season;

• Have your name included on our concert programmes;

• Be invited to join us for an informal reception after each concert;

• Receive an annual newsletter informing you about plans for the coming season.

For £100 you will receive an additional ticket for each concert.
